The Bradford County School District said it awarded its first monthly high-attendance award to Starke Elementary. The Weldon Street campus notched an attendance percentage of 94% in August, besting the other schools in the district. Superintendent Will Hartley presented the high attendance trophy to Principal Raymond Schaefer and Assistant Principal Shannon Rodriquez.
