Clay County adopts traffic safety plan

The intersection of U.S. 301 and County Road 218 near Clay Hill is the third most dangerous in Clay County, while the crossing of State Roads 16 and 21 ranked ninth. The county's most dangerous intersection is Blanding Boulevard (State Road 21) and Wells Road near the Orange Park Mall. State Road 16, from Green Cove Springs to Camp Blanding, is one of the county’s high-injury network corridors, along with U.S. 17 and State Road 21.
